With no cars to dodge, the Princes' Islands are made for cycling — a rented bike is the classic way to explore Büyükada's coast road and pine woods, and it's how most day-trippers get around.
Renting a bike
Rental shops cluster near the piers on Büyükada and Heybeliada. You can hire by the hour or the day, and you'll usually leave an ID as a deposit; some shops have child seats. Where to ride
